We provide a venue for physical and intellectual education through positive reinforcement and an organized curriculum. Our CPR/Safety/1st Aid certified and background-checked staff has worked together for years to promote a clean and safe environment for your child’s learning experience. With countless years of combined coaching experience – we are still training and attending classes to become even better.

This 45-minute class starts with circle time for children ages 21 months – 3.0, where we detail the positions for the week and do a warm-up song together. Your group (7:1 ratio) will move through four different circuits together with the instructor, who will demonstrate how everything is to be done. In Parent and Me classes your child will receive 10 – 15 minutes of free time so they may return to their favorite areas. Every week there will be a new theme with different circuits. The gymnasts will roll, slide, swing, climb, balance, crawl, jump, run, bounce, stretch, and do handstands and cartwheels. The parents’ job is to guide their children through the circuits giving them physical assistance when necessary.
Before You register:
• Instead of Trial classes, we will offer a FULL REFUND to all new students if they wish to withdraw within one day after the 2nd class after their registration! (One day after the 1st class in summer semesters)
• Once you click register and fill out the form, your card will be charged within 48 hours – you DO NOT have to pay online.
• If the class is full, please click the waitlist button you will be notified if a spot becomes available – YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED.
What to know before your first day!
Before Class
Your child should come into our lobby, take off their shoes, socks, jackets, etc… and wait for the class instructor to greet your child and ask them to come in the gym. Class will begin right on time, so try to be a few minutes early.
When Class Starts
Your child and you will be brought into the gym by a coach to sit on a colored dot on the floor. Water bottles should be left in their cubby. We do have a water fountain.
When Class is Going On
Your child will spend 5 minutes warming up, stretching and working on some of the positions in that weeks lesson plan. From there, they will spend time on each of 4 stations followed by an open gym so they may return to the stations they enjoyed most.
When Class Ends
At the end of class, we will gather back on our colored dots and say good bye. Then your child will receive a coloring sheet with the main positions learned that week on it.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?
Girls should wear either a leotard or shorts and a t-shirt. Any tights must be without feet and preferably only shorts in length. Please no dresses, leotards with skirts, or 2 piece leotards. Hair must be secured to stay out of their face. Boys should wear shorts and a t-shirt. All children must have bare feet. Please no jeans, belts, or overalls. All jewelry must be removed before entering the gym. This includes all earrings except studs with a safety backing, and bracelets of all kinds (silly bands, etc). In “Parent” & Me classes, the adult accompanying the child must take off their shoes. Parents are also not allowed to carry a baby through the gym, they may have the baby in a car seat or stroller close to the circuit the older child is training in.
HOW MANY GYMNASTS ARE IN EACH GROUP?
Group size is a maximum of 7 normally. One additional make-up may be in the group. Class size varies depending on the number of groups.
WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT & REGISTRATION POLICY?
Full payment will be autocharged within 48 hours of registering. Registrations are first checked for accuracy and for any discounts/prorates that may apply. If necessary, other arrangements may be made with Mr. Tom – neweragym@gmail.com.

All registrations will be taken on a first-come basis five weeks before each session start. Please register early. In the Winter and Spring Semesters current clients may receive access to registration before open enrollment.

All fees are refundable until one day after the 2nd class after your registration of the any semester for all new students except the summer semester where it is one class. There are no refunds/credits for classes missed for any reason including if the gymnast has to quarantine for any reason – make-ups are your only option. Options for time missed due to injuries are taken as a case by case basisi. If the gym is forced to close and make-ups and/or make-up days cannot suffice, a credit will be issued to your gymnastics account. For current/former gymnasts a cancelation more than 5 days before a semester will be refunded , after that only credited. Credits cannot be exchanged for refunds or transferred outside the immediate family.
WHAT IS YOUR MAKE-UP POLICY?
If your gymnast is possibly contagious, please keep him/her out of class and request a make-up. All gymnasts are allowed 2 make-ups per semester (except in the summer, when you are allowed one). They must be made up within the semester in which they were missed. Make-ups must be scheduled in you PORTAL and are subject to availability. If a makeup date does not show up in your portal, it is already filled. You may enter future absences and then schedule makeups as well. Makeups are NOT a guaranteed benefit.
WHAT IS YOUR BAD WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY?
For storm closings, an email will be sent out, and the gym’s status will be posted on the front page of this website and on social media. PLEASE do NOT call the gym to check status. Decisions will be made by 7:30 am for morning classes and by 12:30 pm for afternoon classes. If your child misses a class because WE cancel his/her class, you may schedule an additional make-up during that session, but make-ups are subject to availability. You cannot be credited unless the cancellation occurs during the last 2 weeks of the session.

New Era 3's
Gymnasts in this class will enter the gym without parents, however, parents may watch the whole class from the viewing area. The class starts with circle time for children ages 3.0 – 3.11, where they learn different positions each week and do a warm-up song.

New Era 4's
This class for ages 4.0 – 4.11 starts with a more conventional warm-up of running and stretching. It then follows the same circuits as the three year olds with a few skill changes here and there. The class is much faster moving and allows time for some specific skill instruction. All gymnasts receive a coloring sheet at the end of class.

Beginner 5 - 6.5 yrs & Beginner 6.5+ yrs
- One 1-Hr class per week
- This is the entry level class for all beginners age 5+.
- They will learn the basics of all five events – Floor Exercise, Bars, Beam, Vault, and trampoline.
- With the incredible variety of skills your gymnast will work on, they will develop strength throughout their body, enabling them to advance to more difficult skills.
ADV. BEGINNER 1 + 2
- One 75 minute class per week
- At this level, the basics are mastered on all events and we work on skills requiring the strength of a handstand.
- A strong handstand and a flexible body is the key to advancement at the level.
INTERMEDIATE
- One 90 minute class per week
- At this level, gymnasts begin working more skills that move through an upside down position.
- There is a larger amount of strength training done to facilitate learning of the more advanced skills.
ADVANCED
- One 2 hour class per week.
- At this level gymnasts work on flight skills. The level after this is our competitive program.
- There is no limit to the skills that can be learned at this level.

GYMNASTICS BIRTHDAY PARTIES for boys or girls
New Era Gymnastics offers a great alternative to home birthday parties. This means FUN for all the kids and less work for you.
All Gymnastics parties are done on Sundays (Saturdays during the summer).
Parties book up quickly, so please book your party well in advance.
About Our Parties:
Cost
• The cost for a Gymnastics Party for up to 16 children (including the birthday child) is $450.
• $25 for each child over 16.
• The Party Deposit is non-refundable 4 weeks or less before party unless we can fill the spot, or if you are able to rebook the party. $100 will be charged to your card within 48 hours of your online party reservation.
IN THE GYM
• The minimum age to have a Gymnastics Party is three years old.
• For Gymnastics parties, no children under the age of two years or over the age of 12 will be allowed in the gym for safety reasons.
• All children four years of age or under should be accompanied by an adult into the gymnastics area if they are not willing to enter on their own.
• All GYMNASTS must be in PLAY CLOTHES – NO jeans, overalls, or dresses please. Shoes, socks, and jewelry must be removed and left in the cubbies. After completion of the activities in the gymnastics area, NO ONE is allowed back into the gymnastics area.
• The instructors will take full charge of the activities.
After The Gym
• After the hour in the gym, you have 30 minutes for food and cake. We will help you set up, serve, and clean up, so you can just sit back and enjoy the party.
• You must supply the food, cake, juice, and any other snacks you wish to bring. We recommend Tonino’s. If you tell them you want pizza delivered to New Era’s FRONT GYM they will give you 10% off! Have them deliver 55 minutes after the start of your party.
• We can supply all paper goods, which are a generic white. Paper goods include plates, cups, napkins, forks, and spoons. If a theme is your child’s desire, feel free to bring your own supplies.
• Presents should be brought home to be opened. We also have a refrigerator and freezer to keep your cake until party time.
• Gratuities are not included in the cost of the party and would be appreciated if you are pleased with your party and if the children had a good time. Gratuities should be given directly to party staff if possible.
Waiver
• Please either include the electronic waiver link below in your invitation. Having them done ahead of time will help speed up the start of your party. Be sure to tell them: Gymnasts must be between 2 and 12, have bare feet, and be accompanied into the gym if they are 4 or under and do not enter on their own.
What to expect at your party!
Before Your Party
As you enter, a staff member will help you bring your supplies in the party room and get set-up. Another staff member will be checking waivers and guiding your guests to the cubbies to put their belongings. Please encourage your guest to be on time so we can start the fun!
During Your Party
We will take charge of fun age appropriate activities like parachute games, moon bounce, balance beams, trapeze swing, tramplines and more. After the 1st hour we will bring the guests into the party room for the food and cake.
After Your Party
The staff will help you clean up promptly at the end, bagging gifts and helping you to the car so we may get ready for the next party.
To Register for a party
On the calendar below, click on the date you would like to have your party. You will find all of the available dates and times. If the box is blank for that date we do not offer parties that day. A green slot is ready for booking. After you enter the family info, click on the blue + sign to enter gymnast info or if a client, log into your customer portal and parties are in the event tab..
Please email us by the Wednesday before the party with an approximate maximum count.
Final payment will occur after the party.
Guests Must fill Out Waivers to participate in a party if they are not already a New Era client.

We have a Gymnastics Camp program certified by the State of CT. Indoor games, outdoor games, arts & crafts, outdoor water play, gymnastics of course, in-house field trips, ice-cream sundaes and much more. We also run vacation camps.
Our camp programs are worth the money. They are for children ages 5 (or going into kindergarten) up to 13 – for both boys and girls. (boys ages 5 – 7 preferably) They are taught by our same professionally trained staff that teach your children during the year. Your children will form bonds with other children and adults that they forever flip for.
We have half day programs from 9:00AM – 12:00PM or 12:30PM – 3:30PM and full day (you bring a lunch) from 9:00AM – 3:30. Gymnasts must be going into 1st grade for Full Day Camp. Early drop off and late pick-up are available for an extra fee. You may select any combination of weeks
Just to further convince you, we have MULTI-WEEK DISCOUNTS and MULTI-CHILD DISCOUNTS
Every half hour of early drop off or late pick up – $20 per week
Earliest drop off: 8:00am Latest pick-up: 4:30pm. There is no late pick up for morning half day or early drop off for afternoon half day campers.

PLEASE READ!
1. Fees
Fees will be auto charged in full within 48 hours . If a partial payments is necessary, place desired amount to be charged now in the comments section above credit card info. Final payment is due before June 27th.
2. Drop off/Pick up
If you desire early drop off or late pick-up, add your desired times to the comment section and I will add the fees to your bill.
3. Paying Fee
Your credit card will not be charged at the time of registration. Discounts will be added after I review the registration and then your credit card will be charged within 48 hours.
4. Documents needed
Please download read and return via email the necessary documents as far in advance as possible before the 1st day of camp.
5. Health Form
You may submit ANY school health form for camp. A sample one is linked here if needed.
6. Medications
The “Administration of Medications” document is ONLY for campers who must bring medications to camp.
7. Refunds/Credits
There are NO refunds/credits for any reason 5 or less days before camp begins unless your spot is filled by someone else.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
All fees are refundable until one day after the 1st class of the any summer semester . There are no refunds/credits for classes missed if the gymnast has to quarantine for any reason – make-ups are your only option. If the gym is forced to close and make-ups and/or make-up days cannot suffice, a credit will be issued to your gymnastics account. For current/former gymnasts a cancelation more than 5 days before a semester will be refunded , after that only credited. Credits cannot be exchanged for refunds or transferred outside the immediate family.
WHAT IS YOUR MAKE-UP POLICY?
If your child is possibly contagious, please keep him/her out of class and request a make-up. All gymnasts are allowed 1 make-ups per summer semester. They must be made up within the semester in which they were missed. Make-ups must be requested on the Make-Up Tab at least 24 hours in advance, as soon as possible after the missed class, and are subject to availability.
WHAT IS YOUR BAD WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY?
For storm closings, an email will be sent out, and the gym’s status will be posted on the front page of this website and on social media. PLEASE do NOT call the gym to check status. Decisions will be made by 7:30 am for morning classes and by 12:30 pm for afternoon classes for If your child misses a class because WE cancel his/her class, you may schedule an additional make-up during that session, but make-ups are subject to availability. You cannot be credited unless the cancellation occurs during the last 2 weeks of the session.

"Parent" & Me
Ages 18 months - 3.3 years- One 45 Minute class per week for 4 weeks
- They will learn the basics of all five events – Floor Exercise, Bars, Beam, Vault, and trampoline through fun circuits with guidance from a “Parent”.
- With the incredible variety of movements and positions your gymnast will work on, they will develop strength, coordination and balance.
New Era 3's and 4's
Ages 3.3 - 4.9 years- One 45 minute class per week
- One 45 Minute class per week for 4 weeks
- They will learn the basics of all five events – Floor Exercise, Bars, Beam, Vault, and trampoline through fun circuits.
- With the incredible variety of movements and positions your gymnast will work on, they will develop strength, coordination and balance and the ability to follow the direction of a teacher, working independently, yet still in full view of a “Parent”.

Before You register:
• Instead of offering a trial class, we will offer a FULL REFUND to all new students if they wish to withdraw within one day after their 1st class!
• Once you click register and fill out the form, your card will be charged within 48 hours – you DO NOT have to pay online.
• If the class is full, please click the waitlist button you will be notified if a spot becomes available – YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED.

What to expect on your first day!
Before Class
Your child should come into our lobby, take off their shoes, socks, jackets, etc… and wait for the class instructor to greet your child and ask them to come in the gym. Class will begin right on time, so try to be a few minutes early.
When Class Starts
Your child will be brought into the gym by a coach. If they bring their water bottle please leave it in their cubby. Parents are not allowed in the gymnastics area.
When Class is Going On
Your child will spend 10 minutes warming up and stretching. From there, they will spend 10 – 15 minutes each event.
When Class Ends
At the end of practice, your child will be dismissed to the lobby by their coach. If you did not stay to watch their practice, please make sure you come in to pick up your child. Our coaches need to make sure your child is getting home with the right person and safely. If you are a little late, no need to call, your child can hang out with us.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?
Girls MUST wear a leotard. Leotards with skirts are not permissible. Bike shorts or footless tights may be worn with a leotard if desired. All students must have bare feet. All jewelry must be removed before entering the gym. This includes all earrings except for studs with safety backs, and bracelets of all kinds (wrist bands, etc).

Beginner 5-6 & 7+
- One 1-Hr class per week for 4 weeks
- This is the entry level class for beginners. They will learn the basics of all five events – Floor Exercise, Bars, Beam, Vault, and trampoline
- With the incredible variety of skills your gymnast will work on, they will develop strength throughout their body, enabling them to advance to more difficult skills.
ADVANCED BEGINNER 1 + 2
- One 75 minute class per week
- At this level, the basics are mastered on all events and we work on skills requiring the strength of a handstand.
- A strong handstand and a flexible body is the key to advancement at the level.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
- One 120 minute class per week
- At this level, gymnasts begin working more skills that move through an upside down position.
- There is a larger amount of strength training done to facilitate learning of the more advanced skills.

Private Lessons
New Era Gymnastics offers a private lessons one on one with our coaches.
About Our PRIVATES:
Cost
• The cost for a Private Lesson is $75 ages 5+.
• $35 for a sibling of similar age and ability
• The fee is non-refundable non-creditable if cancelled less than 5 days before the private unless rescheduled. There are no refunds/creidts in the case of a no show.
IN THE GYM
• The minimum age to have a Gymnastics Private is five years old.
• The maximum age is 12 years old.
• Girls should wear either a leotard. Any tights must be without feet. Please no dresses, leotards with skirts, or 2 piece leotards. Hair must be secured to stay out of their face. All jewelry must be removed before entering the gym. This includes all earrings except studs with a safety backing, and bracelets of all kinds (silly bands, etc).
• The instructors will take full charge of the activities.
After The Gym
• Please be present to pick up your gymnast at the end of the private.
• Gratuities are not included in the cost of the private and would be appreciated if you are pleased with your private and if the children had a good time. Gratuities should be given directly to party staff if possible.
